The reason I’m so passionate about animation-
Through animation, I can create worlds and combine reality with emotion through colors and shapes that are coming to life.
I would like to convey a positive message, make people think, smile, laugh, shed a tear, share my insights with the world and make an impact.
For me it is a way of coping with feelings & emotions, situations, ideas ,and expressing them beyond words.
Animation for me is the perfect combination of all the things I love to do since I was a little girl ,and I have been developing through the years.
I was only 6 months years old when my mother {B.A in History of arts} lay a color in my hands, while I was on a large paper sheet. I rolled on the paper, pretty sure I ate some colors on the way, but then I rolled my hand pressing the color by mistake on the paper, and the rest was history.
During high school, I majored in cinema class – video editing, script-writing, producing, photography, filming. I fell in love with it and I could do it for hours. However, something felt missing! I also had a deep passion to create art, to illustrate by hand and via Adobe Photoshop. I wished back then, I’d find a way to combine all those passions.
After video editing in the Film Unit, during military service, I discovered a college for 3D animation, I gave it a try, and I loved it! So, I wanted to continue to learn more as possible.
I took admissions tests in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design; in the two departments I loved the most- cinema and animation. After a month of anxious waiting, I received two very large envelops from the Bezalel Academy, I got into both departments! But without hesitation, I chose the animation department.
2D Animation, digital art, concept art, designing: characters, environments, and layouts became more and more important to me because I understood how important and what an excellent way to spread love through it.
